Gundagai Bakery is a well-established, medium-sized regional bakery seeking an experienced Head Baker / Bakery Manager to step into a key leadership role within the business.
This position is ideal for a qualified baker who is ready to take the next step and work alongside ownership in running and overseeing day-to-day operations, with the intention of transitioning into John’s role.
The Opportunity
This is more than a standard baking position. We are looking for someone who wants responsibility, leadership, and long-term stability in a respected country bakery.
You will be involved in:
• Leading daily production and baking operations
• Supervising and mentoring staff and apprentices
• Maintaining product quality and consistency
• Assisting with ordering, stock control, and workflow management
• Supporting the overall running of the business
About You
• Fully qualified baker
• Strong production experience
• Leadership capability or readiness to step into a leadership role
• Reliable, organised, and business-minded
• Interested in long-term growth within the bakery
