We're searching for an experienced Commercial Category Lead to join us on our journey to be the trades most valued partner.

About the Role

As the Commercial Category Lead in Bathrooms and Kitchens, you'll be driving an industry leading product portfolio that gives us a distinct competitive advantage. You'll be managing stakeholder relationships across our supply chain, including both domestic and international suppliers.

* Ensuring that the category portfolios are customer led and provide a distinct competitive advantage; undertaking regular range views for optimisation and new product opportunities
* Manage supplier relationships and performance, negotiating commercial terms
* Drive product innovation and development; managing products from concept to launch, collaborating with key stakeholders to bring things to life
* Developing industry relationships that ensure exposure to ongoing innovation and disruption
* Providing reporting and insights on category portfolios (using Excel and Power BI); analysing results to provide updates on trends and other impacts
* Develop procurement plans that enable the efficient supply of products
* Having the customer at the heart of everything you do, helping us build customers for life at Reece
About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

* Demonstrated experience in a similar commercial category and/or product management role – ideally including supplier management, new product development and project management
* Ideally you will also have had some experience working in B2B environment (trade/distribution customers)
* Experience mentoring and/or leading a team will be highly regarded as you will be leading a small team in this role
* Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a passion for mentoring and sharing your knowledge and expertise, and an ability to present and engage audiences
* A positive, can-do attitude and an inquisitive nature, with a thirst to understand the Reece business and products
* Strong relationship building skills, you'll be working with a number of stakeholders within the business and external vendors and suppliers
* Good Excel and Power BI skills
