**ABOUT THE ROLE**
Ertech have partnered with the country's leading defence authority to deliver pioneering projects that provide critical marine and onshore infrastructure off the coast of Western Australia. The projects will have international scope and present unique challenges and opportunities. Initially working from our Balcatta office, this individual will then mobilise to Garden Island working Monday - Friday during project delivery, expected to commence late 2025.
**Your role**:
- Report to the Project Manager and client on all QA/QC matters, while managing and motivating a team of Quality Engineers
- Produce the Quality Management Plans and related Quality Management tools, including Work Packs, Inspection & Test Plans, and Check Sheets in readiness for site construction, installations and field inspections
- Ensure Project teams complete all required QA/QC surveillance and documentation to the applicable project standards
- Understand the non-conformance process and liaise with the client and the project teams to develop corrective and preventative actions to mitigate reoccurrence.
- Train Project team members on Quality documentation and surveillance activities.
- Ensure the Contractor's and vendor's MDR's are compiled in a progressive manner throughout the course of the works
**Your background**:
- You love all things QA/QC!
- 8-10 years of relevant experience, Defence project experience a big plus or another highly regulated industry
- 5 years of onsite experience
- Strong Senior Project Engineering skill set
- Civils background ideal but open to other relevant engineering disciplines.
- B.Eng. preferred but other qualifications considered along with relevant experience.
