About the Role: Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a Safety Coordinator to join their team and support the delivery of multiple ongoing civil projects. Working closely with site teams and operational leaders, you will play a key role in promoting a proactive safety culture, ensuring compliance across site activities, and supporting day-to-day HSE operations. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate daily site safety activities across civil construction projects Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments Lead toolbox talks, pre-starts, and safety meetings Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, company procedures, and client requirements Support project teams with SWMS, permits, and safety documentation Promote positive safety behaviours across site teams and subcontractors Monitor and report on project safety performance Build strong working relationships with operational teams and stakeholders To Be Successful: Previous experience in a Safety Coordinator, Safety Advisor, or HSE role within civil construction or infrastructure Strong understanding of Australian WHS legislation and site safety requirements Experience working across civil, utilities, roads, earthworks, or infrastructure projects highly regarded Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Confident working closely with site teams and subcontractors Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (minimum) Ability to work in fast-paced project environments Strong attention to detail and proactive approach to safety Apply Now or call Sophia on 0405 849 519 for a confidential discussion.
