Position Summary
This is an operational, hands-on role as part of the Supply Chain team.
You will work Monday to Friday at our site office in Keysborough, Victoria.
Monday-Thursday: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm; Friday: 8:30 am – 3:00 pm.
Typical Day
You will support the full supply chain function and coordinate day-to-day logistics tasks while a small team handles overall strategy.
Core Functions
Expedite orders and follow up on supplier acknowledgements.
Work with sub-contract suppliers to coordinate consignment materials.
Update the ERP system with supplier details, in-transit status and goods receipting.
Raise production jobs to manufacture finished goods to maintain minimum stock.
Arrange and manage outbound shipping for customers on a weekly or semi-regular basis.
Supporting Functions
Arrange and manage inbound freight requirements.
Perform inventory and stock-take counts related to purchasing decisions.
Manage supplier quality issues through the departmental sign-off process.
Qualifications
Manufacturing experience desirable, with understanding of Bills of Material, inventory and purchasing.
Previous purchasing experience in a factory environment.
Relevant qualification in Procurement or Supply Chain (advantageous but not essential).
Process-focused with a continuous improvement mindset.
Experience using an ERP/MRP system and strong computer skills.
