The role of RMHC Australia is to support RMHC Chapters across Australia in the delivery of the RMHC mission by collaborating and working with them to facilitate and drive system initiatives and opportunities, economies of scale and efficiencies. The RMHC mission is to provide essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families, and promote healing when children need healthcare. Each year, we support approximately 69,000 families across Australia through our Ronald McDonald Houses, Family Rooms, Family Retreats, Hospitality Carts and Ronald McDonald Learning Program.
We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Data Coordinator to join our team in Thornleigh, NSW. Reporting to the Salesforce Functional Manager, this role is responsible for managing and transforming business data into actionable insights that enhance fundraising, program delivery, and stakeholder engagement.
You'll coordinate data from multiple sources, support donor care and fundraising administration, and deliver reporting that drives data-informed decision-making across RMHC Australia and the RMHC Chapters we work with.
Key Responsibilities
* Fundraising Administration: Manage donor care, regular giving, tax statements, donation receipting, refunds, and bequest processing.
* Data Management: Import, cleanse, validate, and reconcile data from various sources including banking and third-party fundraising platforms.
* Reporting & Insights: Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Salesforce, Excel, and Power BI.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external partners to understand data needs and support decision-making.
* Process Improvement: Contribute to the development of ethical and efficient data processes.
What You'll Bring
* 1–3 years' experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
* Strong data analysis and reporting skills
* Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
* Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g. Ortto)
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
* Understanding of privacy and data protection legislation
* Desirable: Experience in fundraising or the not-for-profit sector, statistical analysis, and financial systems (e.g. Sage)
