You will be responsible for leading our HSEQ team, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and codes of practice, and contributing to the development of forward-thinking HSEQ processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the HSEQ team to achieve exceptional health and safety performance
* Conduct audits and ensure overall compliance with company policies and procedures
* Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize threats to people, assets, and the environment
* Provide training and guidance to employees on HSEQ best practices
* Maintain accurate records of incidents, near misses, and lessons learned
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and drive change
Requirements
* Cert IV in Workplace Health and Safety or equivalent qualification
* Minimum 7 years' experience in a senior HSEQ role
* Strong understanding of Australian and New Zealand legislation and regulations
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
