Nerang Auto Electrical is one of the Gold Coast's leading Auto Electrical service providers for general repairs, heavy duty equipment servicing and breakdowns, traffic control equipment and is a trusted supplier to the emergency services, state, and federal government sectors. We have been on the coast and a big part of local industry for more than 40 years. Providing excellent customer experiences is important to us and this role will support that.
We're seeking more than your run of the mill administrator. We want someone with well-rounded skills who has demonstrated initiative and is a team player. An interest in cars would also be advantageous, but not necessary.
The role consists of 40% administration, 30% finance, 20% operations/stock control, 10% other duties as required.
**The Day to Day**
- Answer phones and undertake general administration tasks
- Provide support to our account clients
- Enter data and maintain the integrity of our information
- Manage the business financials using QuickBooks
- Undertake inventory control and ordering
- Provide front counter support as needed
- Provide support to the owner on a day-to-day basis, as required
- Take accountability for reviewing content for social media and marketing activities
- Facilitate packing and postage of parts
**What you'll bring**
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is a must
- Ideally 2 - 3 years in a similar setting
- Proficiency with the Microsoft 365 Suite
- A desire to extend yourself and develop new skills
- Exceptional time management skills
- Demonstrated phone as well as written and spoken communication skills
- High-level problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- The ability to think for yourself and make confident decisions
- High proficiency with computers, along with knowledge of current software and general technology including ability to understand basic systems
- A current driver's license
