FIFO CHEF
Our client is currently seeking qualified and experienced Chefs for a variety of roles across various camps across South Australia.
These roles will report to the Head Chef on site and some of your daily tasks will include:
- Main task will be Bulk Catering - which involves high volume prep of salads, sandwiches, snacks, fruit and buffet prep
- Working in a busy commercial kitchen
- Working with large teams of staff
- General housekeeping of kitchen and buffet areas
- Ability to work 2:1 rosters
- Work is a combination of continued shifts as well as Ad Hoc coverage across a number of sites.
Essential Requirements:
- Must currently live in Adelaide and surrounding areas and able to fly out of Adelaide Airport. Applications from interstate will not be considered
- Previous experience as FIFO Chef (Essential)
- Bulk cooking experience is essential – Mine sites, Hotels, Major Events
- Trade Qualified – Minimum of Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or similar with experience
- Able to pass a medical and drug screen with regular random drug screens a possibility
- Have or able to obtain a National Police Clearance
- Must be able to provide 1-2 recent contactable work references
- Able to use technology to complete online paperwork and inductions including site inductions if required.
