Due to the stable nature of this organisation, opportunities to join the team are rare.About your new role:You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the organisations general ledgers and associated reconciliations as well as maintaining high quality internal and external financial reporting for the group.
This is a highly technically focused role and will serve as the SME in this space.Some of the key tasks associated with this role include:• Prepare and distribute the month-end Group Timetable• Lead a small team of qualified accountants• Interpret and implement Accounting Standards across the business• Group consolidation and reporting• Prepare statutory/external accounts• Management of group trial balances• Oversee and lead team in Balance sheet reconciliation, P&L reporting, cashflow reporting• Lead the audit process with external Auditors• Assist in annual budget and forecasting processAbout you:The successful candidate for this role will be some one who looks beyond the reported numbers, have a curious mindset to analyse the data produced.
This role will have a high level of exposure to the Executive Leadership Team, therefore experience managing senior stakeholders is preferred.
Experience in an ASX listed environment will be advantageous.• You will be CPA/CA qualified professional with experience ideally in a listed environment and Audit background• You will have a minimum 5-year experience in a similar technical accounting role.• You will have experience within a fast-paced environment.• Can demonstrate sound system skills particularly with MS Excel and has previous exposure to a mid tier ERP systems.• Interpersonally, you communicate in a professional and transparent style and present yourself in a corporate manner.
