Wags Gear is a Fraser Coast family owned business looking for a reliable and hardworking Assistant Yard Manager to join our team.
We supply heavy duty trailers, food grade drums, garden products, and other transport and rural related products. We are looking for someone practical, organised, and ready to get stuck in.
What the role includes:
* Yard organisation and general upkeep
* Loading and unloading trailers, drums, and stock
* Assisting customers with pickups and enquiries
* General yard duties and maintenance
* Forklift operation
* Putting together trailer orders
* Working independently and as part of a small team
What we require:
* Manual driver’s licence
* Current forklift licence, or willing to obtain one
* Reliable transport to and from work
* Physically fit and capable of manual handling
* Good work ethic and ability to use initiative
* Honest, punctual, and reliable
* Strong focus on safety
Bonus if you have:
* Yard, warehouse, transport, or trailer industry experience
* Basic mechanical knowledge
* Welding or basic fabrication skills
