Compliance Audit Specialist
to join our team in Karawatha, QLD. This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring our subcontractor delivery partners operate to the highest standards of compliance, safety, and regulatory integrity.

What You'll Do
Plan, coordinate, and conduct comprehensive audits of subcontractor delivery partners.
Verify compliance with NHVR regulations, Chain of Responsibility (COR), fatigue management, vehicle standards, and workplace health and safety requirements (including Modern Slavery obligations).
Develop audit tools, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions.
Manage subcontractor pre-qualification and ongoing compliance, ensuring insurance, licenses, and certifications are always up to date.
Support investigations into incidents and compliance breaches, providing insights and practical recommendations.
Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Safety, Legal) to ensure consistent compliance standards.
Maintain accurate records, reporting, and audit trails in line with company requirements.
What You'll Bring
3–5 years' experience in transport compliance, auditing, or risk management.
Strong knowledge of NHVR regulations, HVNL, and Chain of Responsibility obligations.
Proven experience conducting audits and writing clear, actionable reports.
High level of attention to detail, integrity, and objectivity.
Excellent stakeholder communication skills – able to explain complex compliance issues to drivers, managers, and senior leaders.
Proficiency with compliance management software and audit tools (preferred).
Current Australian driver's license and willingness to travel regionally when required.
