Resident Medical Officer | St Stephens Hospital

* Location: St Stephens Hospital, Hervey Bay, QLD

Responsibilities
The role will be responsible for providing routine inpatient care and after-hours admissions, supporting specialists and the clinical nursing team by providing clinical assessment services to newly admitted patients or changed condition of current patients as required.
Qualifications
* Current & full unrestricted general registration as a medical practitioner with AHPRA (no limited registrations)
* Minimum of 3 years post Graduate experience
* Full Australian Working Rights (please note, we are unable to provide sponsorship at this time)
* PGY3 and above
* Recent relevant acute care experience and confidence in managing complex patients
* Understanding of National Safety and Quality in Health care standards
* Workplace Health and Safety Act and infection control procedures
* Availability to work all shifts including AM, PM, nights and weekends
* Advanced Life Support Training
* Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements, as well as undergo national criminal history check and functional assessment
