Resilience Business Lead

About the Role
In this key role, you will be responsible for strengthening the ability to maintain critical business services by designing and embedding business resilience strategies, frameworks and capabilities across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
* Improve S&P resilience posture by contributing to strategy (roadmap, governance and operating model) and execution.
* Map Critical Business Services: identify and document critical business services, assess criticality, tolerance levels, identify internal process, system, data and external dependencies, supporting Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and risk management.
* Recovery Capabilities: define and assess potential failure scenarios using structured methodologies contributing to the design and testing of recovery and continuity plans.
* Market Testing: design and coordinate external market testing exercises across the ecosystem, including customers, third-party providers, and internal systems.
* Resilience Architecture: design and implement the S&P and Business Unit resilience architecture, including objectives, key results, metrics, ownership, and dashboards to support governance and reporting Governance and Reporting: contribute to the development of governance structures and reporting mechanisms that align with enterprise standards, regulatory expectations, incident reviews and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Business domain expertise: understanding of post-trade equities infrastructure, including trade, clearing, settlement, and subregister functions
* Business Architecture & Process Mapping: ability to map critical business services to processes, systems, and dependencies.
* Scenario Planning & Risk Assessment: proficiency in structured methodologies to assess failure modes, risk management and playbooks.
* Business Continuity & Recovery Planning: knowledge of BCP, BIA, DRs, Communication Plans and Firedrills principles and practices.
* Operating Model & Governance: experience in designing and implementing operating models with clear accountabilities, metrics and governance structures.
* Dashboard & Reporting: skills in designing and implementing dashboards and reporting tools to support governance and reporting.
* Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: strong communication skills to collaborate across business, operations, and technology teams.
* Analytical & Structured Thinking: ability to approach problems methodically and deliver a tailored approach to uplift S&P resilience posture.
