Humero Recruitment Partners are partnering with a well-established property development group to recruit a talented Management Accountant for their growing Gold Coast finance team. This is a permanent, full-time role offering WFH flexibility, ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys both analytical work and partnering with the business.
About the Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting financial performance across multiple development projects. You'll be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, month-end reporting, and providing insights that help guide commercial decision-making.
You will work closely with operational and project stakeholders, providing accurate financial information that supports project success and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare monthly management reports, including P&L analysis, variance insights, and project‑level performance reporting.
* Support annual budgeting and rolling forecasts, working closely with project managers and senior leadership.
* Maintain accurate financial records, journals, and reconciliations across multiple entities.
* Analyse financial trends and provide recommendations to support commercial outcomes.
* Assist with month‑end and year‑end processes, including audit and compliance requirements.
* Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve financial queries and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
About You
* Degree qualified in Accounting, Commerce, or related discipline.
* CA/CPA qualified or actively working toward completion.
* Strong experience in management accounting, ideally within property, construction, or project‑driven environments.
* Confident with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
