Salary: $80+ p/h with salary packaging available

BluePrint Nursing is seeking a Clinical Nurse specialising in mental health to support our Continuing Care Team (CCT), and Community Mental Health Services. About the Role
The Continuing Care Team provides clinical case management and other therapies for adults aged between 18 and 65 years, experiencing significant and long-term mental illness.
* Deliver evidence-based clinical care and therapeutic interventions in community settings.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement recovery-oriented care plans.
* Provide clinical leadership and mentoring to junior staff.
* Advocate for clients and promote access to appropriate mental health supports.
What You will Bring
* Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
* Mental health community case management experience
* Competent in completing an ECG
* Ability to provive intramuscular injections
* Demonstrated experience in adult mental health continuinng care
* Strong clinical assessment, risk management, and decision-making skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* A commitment to trauma-informed, person-centred care.
* Knowledge of CHIMA database
* Knowledge of ieMR and proficiency in using this system
* Previous experience working in Australia, preferrably with QLD Health
* Knowledge of Mental Health Act 2016
* BLS competency
* Manual and patient handling
* Infection control
* Aggressive behaviour management
* Mandatory reporting by Registered Nurses, and/or Midwives for reasonable suspicions of child abuse and neglect
* Medications management including QPHS (Drugs and Poisons) Regulations November 2012
Additionally, the candidate must agree to undertake any of the following as required by our HHS:
* Integrated electronic medical record training
* Online induction training
* Any other training as requested
