As Associate Director, Risk Strategy, you’ll be responsible for delivering enterprise-wide risk frameworks, policies, and appetite statements, working closely with the CEO, Board, and senior executives to embed lasting value and measurable outcomes. Key Responsibilities Develop, embed, and oversee enterprise and operational risk frameworks, standards, and policies Lead the design and roll-out of the risk appetite framework and statements Conduct risk maturity assessments and drive capability uplift across the business Provide second line oversight and challenge to ensure alignment of risk activities with strategy Deliver executive and board-level reporting and support ad hoc regulatory/legal requests Qualifications & Experience Essential: Undergraduate degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics, IT or related field 8 years’ risk leadership experience in a mature, highly regulated organisation Proven experience developing and embedding enterprise risk frameworks Strong knowledge of ISO31000, COBIT, and APRA/ASIC-aligned frameworks Executive presence with ability to influence CEO, ExCo, and Boards Desirable: Background in financial services, insurance, or other complex regulated sectors Experience with GRC tools and risk reporting systems Proven ability to simplify complex theory into practical steps for non-technical leaders Why Join?
