Offer description

We are passionate about our people and every year we invest heavily in our front-line worker pay, in line with the Living Wage increase each April. This means that from 1st April 2026, our payrate for this role will be increasing to £13.12 per hour!

Are you looking for a full-time role in Health and Social Care where you can truly make a difference?

At Community Integrated Care, we believe in empowering our colleagues and the people we support. This is more than just a job—it's a chance to build meaningful relationships, support people to live their best lives, and grow your career in a supportive, values-driven environment.

We're a multi-award winning charity that exists to ensure our colleagues and the people we support live the best lives possible. In 2025, we launched our new strategy - Best Lives, Bolder. Find our more here.

We Offer

* Flexible working patterns and guaranteed hours contracts
* Work in one location, spending your whole shift with the same person
* No uniform - wear your own casual clothes
* Paid DBS application
* 28 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays for full-time roles)
* Workplace pension scheme
* Shopping discounts and a free Blue Light Card
* Recommend a Friend bonus scheme
* Financial hardship fund
* Free wellbeing support and advice
* Ongoing training and career development opportunities

We're a multi award-winning charity that reinvests all profits into our services, our workforce, and our communities. With over 100 national and regional awards in the past two years, we're proud to be pioneers in social care.

This role is based in a warm and welcoming service that currently supports four individuals with learning disabilities, with a fifth person joining soon. Each person has their own unique personality, interests, and support needs—and they're looking for someone like you to help them live life to the fullest.

You'll support people to enjoy a wide range of activities, including:

* Visiting zoos, theme parks, and football matches
* Going to the cinema, pantomimes, and swimming
* Exploring interests in trains, airplanes, music, and dancing
* Getting creative with arts and crafts
* Cooking and enjoying good food together

You'll also support individuals to stay active in the community and maintain their physical health. A full UK manual driving licence is essential, as you'll be helping with transport to activities and appointments.

Every day is different, and you'll be part of a team that empowers people to make choices, build independence, and enjoy life on their own terms.

At Community Integrated Care, we believe that the right values are more important than experience. That's why we welcome people from all walks of life—whether you've worked in care before, supported a loved one, or are simply looking for a meaningful new career.

We're looking for individuals who bring a caring nature and a mature, thoughtful outlook to their work. You'll be someone who is patient, empathetic, and compassionate in your approach, with the resilience and determination to support people through both joyful and challenging moments. Honesty and reliability are key, and we value those who can think on their feet, solve problems calmly, and always put the people we support first.

Our Values Guide Everything We Do
