AWH serves as the largest regional healthcare provider between Sydney and Melbourne, situated in the border cities of Albury and Wodonga. With a dedicated team of over 3,000 professionals, we service a population of up to 300,000 across North-East Victoria and Southern NSW. Our network encompasses two primary hospital campuses and 22 sites, delivering a diverse range of emergency, surgical, women's and children's, community, mental health, allied health, and sub-acute services. We are expanding with the opening of a state-of-the-art Emergency Department in 2024 and the construction of a new hospital at our Albury site by 2028.

The Fractional Staff Specialist - Addiction Medicine will be a valued member of the Mental Health team. The Fractional Staff Specialist Addiction Medicine will provide expert medical assessment and management of patients. The role will operate within a multidisciplinary team.
Albury Wodonga Health are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this exceptional opportunity.
Registration or eligible for registration with Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA).
Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) or Australasian Chapter of Addiction Medicine (RACP) and/or equivalent specialist recognition as provided for by the Health Insurance Act 1973 and the relevant Award/Determination
Demonstrated subspecialty training in Addiction Medicine or Addiction Psychiatry.
