Central Queensland School Psychologist
The Student Wellbeing Workforce aims to ensure every Queensland primary and secondary state school student has access to a wellbeing professional at school. The focus of the role is to provide support for students with mild to moderate mental health concerns.
Wellbeing professionals employed through the Student Wellbeing Workforce program work as part of schools' established student support teams to enhance the wellbeing and mental health support available to students.
The Department seeks experienced school-based psychologists for the Central Queensland Region. Full-time availability is preferred but part-time positions may be negotiated for the right candidate.
Provisional psychologists are welcome to apply. The pool stays current for 12 months and will allow applicants to be employed for short contract positions, up to 6 months in a range of schools across the region.
Applicants seeking permanent or temporary positions at individual schools are also encouraged to apply directly when these positions are advertised.
