We are seeking a skilled Process Optimization Specialist to join our team at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Newcastle. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives and optimizing production processes on site.

Key Responsibilities:
">

1. Analyze process data and identify trends to optimize process performance
">
2. Develop drawings, specifications, and schematics in relation to maintenance, repair, and project work
">
3. Run projects to reduce waste in current processes
">
4. Engage local suppliers to manufacture consumable spares where you will identify the consumable items, understand the material specifications, and ensure these items are readily available
">
5. Lead root cause analysis and troubleshooting of process-related issues
">
6. Monitor and evaluate key process indicators and generate reports on plant performance
">
7. Develop and maintain asset lifecycle registers
">
">
Required Skills and Qualifications:
">
">
1. A tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
">
2. 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
">
3. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
">
">
