Job Overview:
The Senior Fund Accountant plays a pivotal role in providing financial support to the funds business line.
Key Responsibilities:
* Annual financial statements, management accounts, and other ad-hoc financial reporting are prepared under the supervision of senior directors.
* Financial data is accurately posted through eFront/Navision and Excel for year-end ledger close-down procedures.
* Bookkeeping assistance is provided for complex client structures as needed.
* Collaboration with appointed auditors ensures timely completion of audit procedures.
* Additional bookkeeping and administrative support is offered to team members as required.
Requirements:
* A relevant accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA/ACA) is either held or being pursued by the post holder.
* Experience within the financial services industry and/or accounting/auditing background in the funds environment is essential.
Essential Skills:
* Significant experience in preparing funds accounts.
* Comprehensive knowledge of current IFRS and UK/US GAAP reporting.
* Accounting expertise for various funds structures.
* Proficiency in eFront, Navision, and Value Financials would be advantageous.
