**Job Title:** Team Leader- Disability
As a Team Leader in our organization, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the implementation of individualized supports within supported independent living accommodation settings. Your primary objective will be to strengthen the knowledge and abilities of our support workers, ensuring a person-centered and high-quality culture within the program.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing direct support and leadership to the team across a range of customer needs
* Ensuring the operation of allocated SILs with administrative functions
* Mentoring and developing skill capacity among the disability support worker team
To succeed in this role, you will require:
* A Certificate 4 or higher in a related field
* Demonstrated leadership/management experience
* Ability and willingness to work shift work, regular sleepovers/active nights, weekends, and public/school holidays with significant availability
* Resilience, confidence, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication skills with the ability to develop positive relationships
