Job Overview
As a healthcare professional with experience in patient care, you will be part of a dedicated team providing exceptional care to individuals in the Pre-Op/Post-Op department. The surgical department consists of 14 bed Pre-op, 4 bay PACU, and 6 Operating Rooms. With a multidisciplinary team, you will gain experience in areas such as General Surgery, OB/GYN, Ortho/Sports Medicine, ENT, Urology, Bronchoscopies, Dental Extractions, and Peds Dental Restorations.
Responsibilities
* Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs
* Initiate appropriate nursing interventions
* Provide care tailored to the condition and age of the patient
* Document timely and accurately relating to medical necessity in the medical record
* Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
* Conduct timely and accurate Quality Improvement assessments
