About the Role
As a Operations and Purchasing Officer, you’ll play a critical role in our operations, managing procurement processes, supporting supplier coordination, and ensuring timely delivery of products to delight our customers. You’ll collaborate with various teams, focusing on accuracy and efficiency while upholding our commitment to exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate stock ordering and generate purchase orders.
* Monitor and follow up on purchase orders using inventory management systems.
* Communicate updates on backorders, late orders, and delivery statuses to stakeholders.
* Facilitate returns, process supplier credit claims, and liaise with the warehouse for resolution.
* Report on supplier delivery performance (DIFOT) and ensure timely order fulfilment.
* Assist the Customer Experience team with purchase order-related inquiries.
* Coordinate transport logistics, including delivery scheduling and drop ship orders.
* Support internal accounts reconciliation and resolve account queries.
* Handle Zendesk tickets, prioritising post-sale and customer experience queries.
* Provide administrative support to the warehouse and operations teams.

* Tech-Savvy : Quick to adapt to new systems (SAP and WMS experience is highly desirable) .
* Team Player : Positive and proactive communicator who excels under pressure.
* Industry Knowledge : Experience in home renovation, showroom, or retail is an advantage.
