A vacancy has opened up with Lawson Port Logistics Pty Ltd in the Tullamarine area for a committed individual to join our Transport Operations Team.
We provide services to importers and exporters and are seeking an Assistant Customer Service Person to take the task of managing the operational activities for container deliveries.
This position is a day shift role commencing at 8.00am to 5.00pm ( or as required until finished) Monday to Friday and will commence on a probationary period for the first six months with a view to permanency on successful completion of probation. It is a fantastic opportunity for anyone that would like to join a family team environment.
You will report to the Customer Service Manager and liaise directly with other Operations staff.
Key duties of the role will include:
Managing time slotting activities to and from the wharf for both importation and exportation of containers
Planning loads and deliveries to ensure customer delivery and pick up requirements are met
Liaising with key customers and clients
Providing reports as requested by customers
Ensuring the highest level of customer services is provided to customers
General assistance with all transport administrative tasks and duties
Individuals who have a strong knowledge of the transport fleet control will be highly considered for the position.
