We're looking for a reliable and customer-focused retail assistant to join our Poolwerx team at our Beldon store.
If you've got a strong background in retail or customer service, love working with people, and are keen to learn, this could be the role for you. Pool industry experience is a bonus, but not essential – we'll provide full training.
This role comes with a clear pathway to Store Manager for the right person. If you're looking for more than just a job, and want a career with growth, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
You'll be the friendly face greeting customers in-store, providing advice, and making sure every visit is a positive one.
Your days will include:
* Assisting customers with product selection and advice
* Testing and analysing pool water (training provided)
* Keeping the store well-presented and stocked
* Processing sales and managing POS transactions, Job bookings
* Supporting our service team with customer enquiries
What We're Looking For
* Trustworthy and reliable – you'll often work independently and be trusted with opening/closing the store
* Previous retail or customer service experience (pool industry experience a plus, not required)
* Great communication skills and a friendly approach
* Willingness to learn technical skills and product knowledge
* Comfortable with computers and point-of-sale systems
* Ambition to progress into leadership and store management
