Islamic School of Canberra (operated and managed by Islamic Practice and Dawah Circle Inc.) is a co-educational, K - 12 independent school located in Weston. We are looking for an ICT Support Technician to handle our IT and technology issues and support different departments in our school. We promote the values of respect, trust, unity, honesty and diversity at the school.
- Diagnosing and resolving software and hardware issues to ensure seamless IT operations.
- Assisting staff and students with technical queries and troubleshooting IT-related problems.
- Installing, configuring, and updating software to meet user needs.
- Setting up and maintaining network infrastructure to support daily operations.
- Managing and updating the school's website to ensure a user-friendly experience.
- Repairing and replacing IT peripherals like printers, modems, and terminals.
- Bachelor/master's degree in IT or technology
- At least 1 year work experience in the same position
- A strong understanding of IT systems, software, hardware and networking.
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to IT support.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a school environment.
- Excellent communication skills to assist non-technical users.
- Work experience in the school setting is desirable.
- Work experience in a faith-based school setting is preferred.

Pay: $73,500.00 - $75,000.00 per year
