Are you looking for a new challenge in sales?

A leading manufacturer of premium paints, finishes, and protective coatings is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their Queensland Sales Team.

* Your role will be to increase market share in the Bundaberg region across all major trade customer segments with a key focus on driving new business growth.

About this opportunity:

This is a dynamic sales professional role that requires resilience, drive and a passion for delivering results.

* Pursue proactive strategies to secure and report on a sales pipeline, identifying business opportunities and developing strong relationships with customers.
* Deliver innovative sales tactics, incorporating cold calling, customer conversion, and prospect identification to hit sales targets.

About you:

* You have 5+ years' experience in a similar Business Development Role.
* You have the ability to leverage multiple channels including face-to-face, phone and digital.
* You are influential in creating valuable and impactful business/client connections that lead to mutually beneficial outcomes.
* You have a desire to utilise the full product portfolio across an assigned territory.
* You possess strong business sense with a focus on execution of business plans paired with the ability to pivot and share best practices.
* You are excited to gain and take market share from larger corporate competitors.
* You are committed to service excellence and a consistent personalised customer experience.
* You have an established level of computer literacy.
* You are willing and flexible to work outside typical business hours, where required.
* You are enthusiastic about joining a company that cares for its business and culture.
* You have an unencumbered driver's licence.

Desirable qualifications include:

* A background in trade and/or paint industry.
* A tertiary qualification or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
* Demonstrable experience with Salesforce, Oracle or another CRM platform.
