Job Title
A challenging and rewarding position exists for a Case Manager/Court Assessment Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and prosecuting individuals at court, while also providing evidence-based case management practices to a caseload of individuals assessed at a medium or high risk of reoffending.
About the Role
This is an ongoing, full-time position based in Bendigo. As a hybrid role, you will support community safety through case management and advise the courts on an individual's court order suitability. Key Responsibilities
* Assessing and prosecuting individuals at court
* Providing evidence-based case management practices to a caseload of individuals
* Conducting assessments to determine an individual's suitability for a court order
* Facilitating order variations and prosecuting those who fail to comply with their orders
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have experience or understanding of effective case management practices, proactively managing risk with more complex individuals. You should also possess assertiveness and confidence in dealing with individuals exhibiting challenging behaviors. A relevant qualification in social work, law, human services, criminal justice, or criminology is desirable.
