Job Summary:
A skilled and dedicated Team Coordinator is sought to join our organization. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality programs and services to young people.

* Key Responsibilities:
o Coordinate the development, delivery and review of individual and group programs to address the criminogenic and support needs of young people in accordance with relevant legislative provisions, strategic priorities, statutory delegations, departmental policies, procedures and contemporary best practice.
o Provide supervision to staff in the use of evidenced based skills and processes associated with reductions in re-offending (including use of the case management framework, use of risk assessment tool, and providing targeted interventions including collaborative problem solving, pro-social modelling, cognitive techniques, and restorative justice).
o Ensure consistent out posted youth justice operations through the development of information sharing within a multi-disciplinary environment.
o Allocate, prioritise and perform tasks in accordance with departmental procedures and statutory, financial and administrative delegations.
o Maintain knowledge of contemporary trends, practices, funding initiatives and service delivery options to ensure the delivery of best practice youth justice programs and services.
o Oversight of the suicide risk management process in the youth justice service centre.
o Promote an accountable, fair and safe work environment.
o Ensure effective management of human, financial and physical resources, within a culture of client service, continuous improvement and innovation, ensuring performance outcomes are achieved to a high standard.
o Participate as a member of the youth justice service centre management team and contribute to strategic and operational planning, reviews and key decision-making.
o Provide ongoing recruitment, selection, professional development and culturally appropriate supervision and leadership to staff.
