Receiving Officer - Supply Chain Coordinator
This role is vital to the finance team, assisting with purchasing, receiving, and handling goods entering the hotel. The Receiving Officer will be responsible for managing daily loading dock operations and overseeing storage of goods throughout the hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
* Verify that goods delivered match delivery documents, checking and recording temperatures of food items, quantities, and quality, using the Purchasing system. Distribute manual dockets to Finance for invoice matching.
* Support departments in returning goods to suppliers and ensure credit notes are received and provided to Accounts Payable.
* E nsure invoices are correctly coded, batched, and approved according to hotel delegation of authority.
* Coordinate with procurement and finance to address supplier pricing variances.
* Assist F&B Management in maintaining beverage inventory levels per IHG CSA requirements.
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in storage and loading areas in line with HACCP.
Requirements:
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in financial software systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Will ingness to learn and support other finance tasks as needed.
* Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with hotel departments and retail management teams.
