THE OPPORTUNITY
As Change Manager, you'll work closely with leaders, project teams, and our national network to design and deliver change that is meaningful and lasting. You'll play a key role in bringing stakeholders on the journey – building understanding, confidence, and capability every step of the way.
The role ensures that change initiatives meet project objectives (including the delivery of activities on time and on budget), increase stakeholder adoption and usage, and are delivered within the context of Lifeline Australia's strategic priorities and member network. This is a full‐time 12 month contract.
Responsibilities
* Design, develop and implement change management strategies that are appropriate for the project and aligned to organisational objectives and priorities.
* Support the design of change management plans, ensuring integration of change activities into project schedules, assigning ownership and accountabilities.
* Work with the Change Team, EPMO, Project Manager/s, SMEs and other project team members to deliver strategic projects and initiatives.
* Conduct stakeholder analysis, change impact analysis and change readiness assessments.
* Report on change activities on a periodic basis to enable appropriate decision making by the Leadership Team.
* Design, develop and deliver communications to support change management initiatives.
* Work with Change Team and EPMO colleagues to build change capability across the organisation, working to achieve consistency in project and change governance.
* Support the Head of Change to support executives and people leaders to help them fulfil their role as change sponsor and to better assist their own direct reports through change initiatives.
About You
* Tertiary qualification / change management certification or equivalent industry experience in change management.
* Desirable: Project management certification.
* Strong change management experience, utilising industry‐recognised change management methodologies.
* Experience working in both non‐profit and commercial settings is desirable.
* Proven ability to identify, manage and address risks and issues, including change resistance, to the successful implementation of business change.
* Exceptional stakeholder management, collaboration, influencing and negotiation skills.
* Ability to establish and maintain strong, productive working relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
* Excellent written and verbal communicator who understands how to build buy‐in and influence at all levels of the organisation.
* Self‐directed, flexible, motivated team player who enjoys working in a transformational and changing environment.
* All employees of Lifeline Australia must undergo a National Police Check.
