 
        
        The Human Resource Generalist will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, reviewing pay structures, advantages, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. You will be involved in the entire employee life cycle and will spend significant time developing and maintaining relationships with employees, managers, leaders, and stakeholders. Your focus is to create and execute people strategies that help meet organizational goals. 
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 
Implementing programs to improve the employee experience of the organization. 
Handling complaints and disciplinary procedures for the company 
Assisting with salary negotiations and issues with employment laws 
Assisting with the onboarding of Sub Contractors 
To manage all aspects of HR administration 
Oversee full employee life cycle, including onboarding and offboarding. 
To draft and develop any legally required an/or beneficial documentation policies and processes. 
To Coordinate company events, developmental activities and any other team focussed process and projects. 
SKILLS ESSENTIAL TO THE JOB

Experience in use of Employment Hero would be highly beneficial 
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED 
Secondary: HSC or equivalent highly regarded 
Tertiary/T.A.F.E. HR Course 
A certificate qualification in logistics management or a related discipline from a recognised tertiary institution OR a preparedness to undertake such study to complement the role and the business requirements. 
Professional: Membership of relevant industry bodies an advantage but not essential 
Licences: Drivers Licence (car) 
Other: Supervisory or Leadership Courses (e.g. AIM, TAFE or in-house)
