At Palm Lake Care Caloundra, we're seeking a passionate permanent Chef to elevate our dining experience. You'll blend delicate flavours while meeting strict dietary, nutrition, and hydration needs.
Make Dining a Highlight
Dining is often the social heart of our residents' day. You'll:
* Manage special diets and fulfill resident wishes
* Work closely with the Chef Manager to prepare, present, and serve high-quality meals
* Ensure safe, exceptional service in a fast-paced kitchen

Role & Roster
* Permanent position
* Fixed roster: Monday, Saturday, Sunday (Penalty rates apply for weekend shifts)
What You Bring – Essential
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or working towards)
* 2+ years' experience as a Chef/Cook
* Proven ability to lead a busy kitchen with multiple staff
* Strong communication and staff development focus
* Knowledge of hygiene practices
* Empathy for elderly residents and their families
* Positive attitude and teamwork ethos
Desirable
* Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
* Experience in Australian aged care
