About the role
Join our dedicated team at Onpoint Patios Pty Ltd as a full-time Trade Assistant based in Burleigh Heads, QLD. In this hands-on role, you will be an integral part of our construction projects, providing valuable support to our team of skilled tradespeople.
What you'll be doing
* Assist tradespeople with a variety of tasks including materials handling, tool preparation, and general labouring duties
* Ensure the work area is kept clean, tidy and organised to support efficient operations
* Follow all safety protocols and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment
* Learn from experienced tradespeople and develop your practical construction skills
* Communicate effectively with the team to coordinate activities and resolve issues
What we're looking for
* Some previous experience in a construction or trade-related role, or a keen interest in developing construction skills
* Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour tasks
* Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced tradespeople
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
* Effective communication and teamwork skills
* A positive, proactive attitude and enthusiasm for the construction industry
