Job Description
Create your best future and join Westpac as an Executive Assistant for the Chief Investment Office and Group Treasury.
What's the role?
As an Executive Assistant within the Chief Investment Office and Group Treasury, you'll provide high-level support to two senior leaders responsible for balance sheet, funding and risk management across the Westpac Group. You'll play a key role in keeping leaders organised, informed and focused in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
Your day-to-day will include managing complex diaries, coordinating meetings across multiple time zones, booking international travel, preparing materials, and acting as a trusted point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including offshore teams in London, Europe, New York, Singapore and China. With discretion, initiative and strong judgement, you'll anticipate needs, manage competing priorities and ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
This is a 12-month parental leave cover role based in Sydney, with three to four days in the office to connect with the wider team. You'll also be part of a collaborative network of EAs, sharing knowledge, supporting each other, and driving excellence together.
What do I need?
To thrive in this role, you'll bring a strong sense of initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and confidence.
* Proven experience in a senior administrative or executive support role, maintaining strict confidentiality, ideally within a corporate or financial services environment.
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of professionalism and discretion.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and confidence navigating internal systems.
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organisation.
Why join us?
* Special offers on banking products and discounts from top brands, including generous employee-only mortgage rates.
* Flexible work arrangements to help you achieve a greater work/life balance, and a variety of leave options including Culture, Lifestyle and Wellbeing leave.
* Tailored learning and development opportunities to help you grow your career within the bank.
* Lots of opportunities to give back to the Community by getting involved in our many volunteering initiatives.
