Role Overview
* Deliver high-quality student-centred learning experiences by designing engaging curricula that incorporate learning technologies, flexible delivery modes, and best-practice approaches.
* Contribute to the faculty's strategic research initiatives through publications, collaborations, and supervising honours and HDR students.
* Establish partnerships with schools, community organisations, and professional bodies to strengthen student learning and graduate employability outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A PhD or Professional Doctorate in Science Education or a closely related discipline, and an initial teacher education qualification are mandatory for this role.
* Excellent tertiary-level teaching skills, including curriculum design and delivery expertise in Science Education, are highly valued.
* Developing or established track records of research or scholarship of teaching, including publications and student supervision relative to career stage, are desirable.
* Evidence of engagement with professional networks, partnerships, or community collaborations relevant to Science Education is advantageous.
