Recruitment Select is actively seeking an Accounts Officer responsible for Accounts payable and receivable tasks. The role will manage daily operations along with supporting both the Finance Officer & Finance Business Partner as required. This is a temporary full-time role for up to 6 months on casual pay working with a local reputable business based in Shepparton. After 6 months with the possibility of moving within the business as a more permanent candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
* Data input of supplier invoices
* Matching purchase orders to invoices
* Reconciliation of AP statements
* Procurement/supplier process review
* Processing monthly payment runs
* Manage claims
* Process remittance advice Credit control - debtors & creditors
* Banking requirements
* End of month accounting tasks
* Customer Support
* Answer incoming calls
* Contribute excellent organisational skills
Experience & Qualifications:
* 2 years + experience in Accounts Payable or Receivable position
* A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Bookkeeping preferred
* Knowledge of agriculture industry would be highly regarded
* Outstanding relationship management skills
* Advanced use of Word, Powerpoint, Excel & Outlook
* Experience in use of Sage X3 & cloud documents
* Excellent written & verbal communication skills
* A proven ability to meet deadlines
* Current Police Check
