Support services coordinator - billing specialist

Role Summary:
This role offers a unique opportunity to work in the operations division, supporting people with disabilities and managing billing processes efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, coordinating, and optimizing billing to all NDIS and non-NDIS funded clients.

Main Responsibilities:
The Billing Officer role is designed to ensure the smooth and timely administration of service agreements and billing, including process improvements where possible. This involves:
- Conducting billing activities using Salesforce to ensure accurate and timely quoting and billing of services delivered;
- Contributing to regular reporting requirements to show the state of billing activities against services delivered;
- Assisting in the design, development, and implementation of systems, policies, and procedures to enable efficient and effective billing of services provided;
- Maintaining and updating service agreements in line with NDIA and organisational requirements;
- Establishing and refining efficient processes to create, update, and monitor client agreements;
- Responding to internal and external queries regarding NDIS agreements, billing, and administration in a professional and timely manner;
- Providing leave cover for other billing officers as required;
- Actively participating in team meetings and other forums as required;
- Working with the team to ensure priorities in all areas are met;
- Undertaking other ad-hoc tasks as required.

Key Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need to have:
- A current National Police Record Check;
- International Police Check (if required);
- Current driver's license to drive in Australia;
- Demonstrated experience in using relevant databases/systems like Salesforce;
- Demonstrated experience with high-volume transactions;
- Proven record working within the NDIS funding model and/or not-for-profit organisation;
- Demonstrated understanding of the need to maintain confidentiality and privacy;
- Demonstrated excellent computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, and Teams;
- Highly developed administrative, organisational, and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to prioritise key tasks under strict timeframes;
- Demonstrated high-level interpersonal, written, and verbal skills with experience in responding to a range of enquiries in a complex work environment.
