We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Mechatronics Engineer to join our growing team in Holden Hill, SA.

Responsibilities
Design and development of electromechanical systems.
Control systems architecture and integration.
Sensor, actuator and data acquisition system development.
Product testing, validation and system verification.
Engineering problem solving and root cause analysis.
Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA).
Hydraulic system integration and control.
Automotive suspension and shock absorber systems.
Embedded systems and electronic hardware integration.
Cross‐functional collaboration with manufacturing, testing and project teams.
As a Key Member of Our Engineering Team, You Will:
Lead the design and development of electromechanical systems from concept through to validation and product launch.
Develop and integrate sensors, actuators, control systems and electronic hardware into advanced vehicle systems.
Drive innovation in system architecture, controls and data‐driven engineering solutions while ensuring compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.
Collaborate closely with mechanical, software, manufacturing and testing teams to refine and optimise product designs.
Contribute to multidisciplinary projects from requirements definition to implementation, testing and deployment.
Develop and execute test plans, validation activities and system‐level performance assessments.
Identify and implement improvements to machinery, manufacturing systems and engineering processes to improve efficiency, quality and performance.
Provide technical support and liaison across suppliers, manufacturing teams, and customers.
Support the successful delivery of complex engineering programs in a fast‐paced environment.
Who You Are
5+ years of experience in a similar role within automotive, aerospace, defence or advanced manufacturing industries.
A degree in Mechatronics Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience designing and integrating electromechanical systems.
Experience developing and executing test plans and validation activities.
Strong systems engineering and problem‐solving capability.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
A proactive, hands‐on approach with strong attention to detail.
A commitment to continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Willingness to travel internationally for project needs, if required.
Highly Regarded
Experience with automotive suspension systems, vehicle dynamics or hydraulic control systems.
Experience with embedded systems, CAN bus communications, telemetry or data acquisition systems.
Experience with control systems development, modelling and simulation.
Experience working in motorsport, automotive, aerospace or defence environments.
