Your new role
Due to sustained project demand, they are seeking an experienced Construction Claims Administrator to support their commercial team on a temporary ongoing basis, with an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation, submission, and reconciliation of monthly progress claims
Collate daily dockets, site diaries, labour records and equipment logs to support claims and variations.
Review builder-issued payment schedules, identifying underpayments, discrepancies or omissions
Maintain claim registers, job cost summaries, and project billing trackers
Prepare and compile supporting documentation in line with head contract requirements, including photos, timesheets and access logs
Liaise with site supervisors, project managers, and client representatives to verify scope, site progress and completed works.
Support Accounts Receivable in resolving payment enquiries and outstanding claims
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in construction administration, scaffolding, or access services (highly regarded)
Demonstrated understanding of progress claims, variations, and payment schedules within the building industry
Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret site data, contracts, and commercial documentation
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, with confidence using document management systems
Excellent communication skills, able to liaise effectively with both site-based and commercial teams
Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple project claims simultaneously
