This pivotal role champions risk and compliance management and promotes a positive risk culture.
Responsibilities include maintaining the Risk Management Framework and advising the SLT and Board on regulatory and risk issues.As Head of Risk, you will monitor and assess the Risk Management Framework, develop risk processes, and support management teams to enhance risk maturity.
You will ensure compliance with APRA standards, embed risk policies, and act as a trusted advisor to strengthen risk identification and management capabilities across the organization.This role also involves engagement with Noble Oak's Partner Governance Framework, managing partner incidents, and liaising with Partner Risk & Control personnel.Key Accountabilities While the CRO remains ultimately responsible, the Head of Risk supports the function and participates in related activities.
Key responsibilities include: Managing functions supporting the CRO office.
Owning the risk management discipline, setting objectives, and training staff.
Developing and maintaining the Risk Management Strategy and Framework.
Analyzing risks, maintaining the Risk Matrix, and engaging stakeholders.
Evolving governance and risk frameworks, policies, and procedures.
Leading risk-related projects, ensuring regulatory compliance.
Managing risk and compliance frameworks, monitoring, and reporting.
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators.
Promoting a strong risk and compliance culture through advice and training.
Supporting governance, internal controls, and risk awareness initiatives.
Contributing to leadership and organizational culture.
About You Capabilities include deep risk management knowledge, excellent communication, analytical skills, leadership, stakeholder influence, change management, and integrity.
You should be able to produce effective presentations and training.Experience & Qualifications include a bachelor's degree, at least 10 years in relevant roles, preferably within APRA and ASIC regulated environments, supporting Boards and regulators, and experience with governance, compliance, and risk systems.#J-18808-Ljbffr
