Position Profile
This is a permanent full‐time appointment at 76 hours per fortnight. The role liaises with multidisciplinary staff and stakeholders to accurately identify ineligible, compensable and private patients and endeavours to maximise hospital revenue via various revenue‐enhancement initiatives to ensure customer satisfaction among patients admitted utilising their private health cover.
Eligibility
Applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed‐term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).
Other Conditions
WA Health engages staff in positions of trust and responsibility. WA Health policies require applicants to undertake a criminal record screening and integrity checking as part of the appointment process. A working with children check may also be required, as may a pre‐employment health assessment.
Completion of a satisfactory Pre‐Employment Health Assessment (PEHA) is required. An unsatisfactory PEHA may result in the offer of employment being withdrawn.
