Overview
Mission Critical Recruitment are seeking an experienced construction Project Manager to lead delivery / fit-out of a new hyperscale data centre in Melbourne.
As a Project Manager, supported by the Project Director, you will guide the ongoing delivery of a high value construction project, overseeing the project scope, project quality, timeframes and budgets.
Responsibilities
* Managing, and working closely with, external project management consultants
* Project control, cost and contract management.
* Day to day project reporting
* Managing communication with cross-funtional internal and external teams
* Develop and execute project management plans
* Concurrently manage multiple services
* Project reviews and audits, commissioning and project close out
Requirements
* 8 years' plus experience in project/construction management for highly technical, construction projects - experienced in controlling major scale projects of 200m upwards value
* Strong experience in project control, governance and delivery frameworks
* Project management / construction qualification highly desirable
* Site based project experience essential - ideally in data centre construction projects, or similarly complex, high value builds
* High level communication skill with ability to manage multiple stakeholders and influence at all levels
