South Australia - Assistant Restaurant Manager (ARM)

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager (ARM), you'll be the right-hand person to the Restaurant General Manager (RGM), helping to keep things running smoothly. This role requires a hands‑on approach to ensure the Restaurant consistently delivers excellence in the Team Member Experience, Customer Experience, and Business Growth workstreams. KFC will guide you through each workstream to ensure you have a full and impactful understanding of the tasks required.

As an ARM, you'll bring:

* Proven experience and performance in a supervisory position
* Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on Team Member and Customer Experience
* Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
* Passion for delivering exceptional experiences and driving business success
* Ability to train and develop a dynamic team
* Strong problem‑solving skills to think on your feet and resolve issues quickly to keep the Restaurant running smoothly
* Confidence in decision‑making to take charge during shifts and making the right calls to optimise performance
* A sound understanding of budgets, inventory, and labour costs to drive efficiency and profitability, with a willingness to learn the detail of KFC Operations
* Commitment to workplace safety by ensuring Workplace Health and Safety standards are always upheld

A day in the life of an ARM:

* You'll take charge of shifts, leading a dynamic team and making sure the Restaurant operates safely and efficiently.
* You'll play a key role in ensuring team members and customers always feel welcomed and supported.
* Focus on training and development, ensuring Team Members have the skills and confidence to succeed.
* Recruiting the right people, assigning responsibilities, and maintaining high performance standards.
* Coaching and supporting team members to help the team improve.
* Achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Sales, Profitability, Team Member Experience and Customer Satisfaction.
* Manage financial aspects such as Budgets, Inventory, and Labour Costs to optimise efficiency and growth.
* Ensure compliance with Regulations, address Customer Feedback, and implement Marketing Initiatives to drive Business Success.
* Your role is about creating an environment where both Team Members and Customers have an exceptional experience while helping the Restaurant grow
