Senior Facilities Manager – Sydney, New South Wales
Leading a small on‐site team, you will oversee the reliable, safe and cost‐effective operation of all building, essential services and soft services across the portfolio. Your role will involve managing key service partners, delivering capital works, risk management and sustainability initiatives.
Responsibilities
* Lead the operational management of all building services, essential services and infrastructure and ensure safe, compliant and reliable operation of plant and equipment.
* Manage OPEX within budget and deliver approved capital works programmes.
* Own contractor performance—from procurement and contract execution through to KPIs.
* Implement preventative maintenance strategies to maximise asset performance.
* Partner with finance, sustainability, procurement and capital works teams.
* Provide clear, accurate reporting to the client and internal stakeholders.
* Support sustainability and energy initiatives across the portfolio.
Qualifications
* Extensive experience in commercial facilities or building management.
* Strong knowledge of essential services, compliance and risk management.
* Demonstrated success managing contractors and service partners.
* Budget management and financial reporting capability.
* Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
* A proactive, solutions‐focused leadership style.
* Tertiary qualification in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Services or similar (desirable).
