THE ROLE
As the Nurse Unit Manager - Mental Health you will lead the operations of a nursing unit, ensuring the delivery of quality patient care in alignment with the organisation's strategic goals. Your role will involve managing human and material resources, monitoring clinical indicators, and driving continuous improvement within your unit. You will also play a key role in staff development, mentoring, and fostering an innovative culture that promotes excellence in clinical practice.
THE ESSENTIALS
* Relevant qualifications and current registration with the AHPRA
* Extensive post-registration clinical experience
* Mental Health passion and experience within your previous roles
* Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and develop teams
* Demonstrated commitment to customer service and quality improvement
* Post-graduate qualifications in a relevant discipline (or working towards)
* Experience in managing human and financial resources
* Advanced Life Support (ALS) training
* Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia - sponsorship is not available
