Literacy Intervention Teacher Role
* Oversee and implement effective literacy intervention at the school.
* Identify and promptly address specific literacy difficulties that students may encounter.
* Implement rich, targeted interventions to accelerate literacy development and monitor progress.
Working closely with classroom teachers ensures alignment of intervention strategies with classroom instruction, maintaining open communication with parents and supporting the establishment of an intervention team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring a range of literacy interventions aimed at improving student outcomes. This includes developing and maintaining relationships with teaching staff, providing support and guidance on effective literacy practices, and contributing to whole-school initiatives related to literacy development.
