Location: Grafton, NSW
An independent school in the Clarence Valley is seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary English Teacher to join its teaching team from the start of 2026.
This is a full-time permanent role suited to a teacher who is committed to academic excellence and student-centred learning.
The Role
- Teach English across Years 7-12
- Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with the NSW curriculum
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and creativity
- Contribute to co-curricular activities, pastoral care, and school life
- Collaborate within a professional and supportive English faculty
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in Education with a major in English
- NESA accreditation (or eligibility) and a current WWCC
- Experience teaching Stage 6 English (Advanced, Standard or Extension) highly regarded
- Strong knowledge of English pedagogy and curriculum
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Commitment to ongoing skilled learning and innovation in teaching practice
